The community has a newly expanded/ redesigned clubhouse with  a kitchen and dining/meeting area, complete with a dance floor, that easily seats 70  people. The Social Committee hosts monthly events and dinners at the clubhouse which are very popular and well attended. For a nominal fee residents may use the facility for private parties, such as family events, receptions, birthdays and anniversaries. 

The Villages of Old Landing  has an outdoor pool and a newly constructed cabana.  The pool is maintained by volunteers and is open from Memorial Day to Mid- September from 10:00AM to 8:00PM, seven days a week.  The area is completely lighted and pool hours are extended at night for community social events and private parties. Behind the pool and clubhouse is a facility for residents'  and their guests boats, trailers and Rvs.


The Villages of Old Landing common areas are beautifully landscaped and are maintained by professional lawn services and volunteers.  Individual homes are held to a high standard.  Lawns are neatly trimmed and homes feature attractive flower beds.  Trees have been planted throughout the community.  All streets are well lighted at night for resident's convenience. 

The community has two fully irrigated large ponds with fountains which are lighted at night.  During the spring and fall, they are home to migrating geese.  In the summer the heron arrive.  The foliage along the ponds are nesting places for birds native to the Mid-Atlantic coast. The ponds are boardered by walking paths - Great for exercise and walking your pets.

  

 

If you are a sports person, a 18 hole public golf course is right around the corner. Want to fish?  Charter fishing boats for full and half day excursions are readily available throughout the area at very reasonable costs.  If dining out is your pleasure, the Rehoboth Beach and Lewes areas offers excellent year round restaurants.  Want to shop?  Rehoboth Beach is home to one of the largest complex of outlet malls in the mid Atlantic area.  Additionally, both Rehoboth Beach and Lewes feature downtown shopping stores with items unique to the area.
